The Ballot Book is excited to announce the return of our
Advanced Election Results for San Diego County’s upcoming general election. This tool, first introduced in the March primary, is designed to offer deeper insights and more interactive ways to analyze local election outcomes, tailored specifically to meet the needs of those tracking key races and candidates closely.
In response to user feedback, we’ve implemented some updates to enhance the experience. First, you’ll notice an overhauled design that simplifies navigation and improves overall usability. The new layout not only looks cleaner but also makes finding specific election data faster and more intuitive.
For those with a specific interest in certain candidates or races, the tool now includes a “pinning” feature. This allows users to highlight particular contests at the top of the page, making it easier to focus on what matters most to them. Combined with an improved search function, these features let you personalize the way you view results and track key updates in real-time.
While accessing these results requires a quick email signup, this step unlocks the full functionality of the tool, including the ability to pin races and receive notifications as new results become available. The results page is already live, so users can explore its features ahead of the first updates on election night.
The Ballot Book’s Advanced Election Results will be refreshed with each update from the county. While these won’t be instantaneous, we are committed to posting the latest numbers as quickly as possible after each county release. We’re excited to share this expanded tool and are grateful for the feedback that helped shape it. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out to mason@edgewater-strategies.com.
