[New Feature] Local + Legislative Results Now Mapped

When The Ballot Book first launched, we made it easy to explore how precincts voted in statewide elections. Today, we’re excited to announce a major expansion: you can now view precinct-level results for state legislative races (dating back to 2014) and local races (for 2022 and 2024).

This means you can now do more than see how a city council, school board, or supervisor district voted for President or statewide propositions—you can also view how it voted for State Senate, State Assembly, Mayor, District Attorney, School Board, and other local contests that overlap that geography.

Examples

Here’s how the 57th Assembly District voted for Los Angeles District Attorney in the 2024 general election:
