City of Woodland

To keep Woodland safe, clean and well-maintained by increasing police and fire protection, reducing emergency response times, repairing roads and sidewalks, addressing homelessness, improving and maintaining parks, enhancing programs for children and youth, and for general government use, shall a measure establishing a one cent sales tax, providing approximately $16,500,000 annually for 8 years, requiring independent audits, public spending disclosures, local control and all funds remaining in Woodland, be adopted?

Shall the measure authorizing the City of Woodland to accept at least $300,000,000 in federal and state contribution, or up to 99% of the project costs, to provide flood control for the City of Woodland and authorizing construction of the Lower Cache Creek Flood Risk Management Project, as outlined in the measure, be adopted?

Shall the salary for City Council members of the City of Woodland be increased from $250 to $500 per month, and in the future be adjusted by City ordinance in accordance with State law?

To improve City services, such as law enforcement, parks, youth/senior services, and street repair, and for general government use, shall a measure be adopted enacting a tax on cannabis businesses up to 10% of gross receipts, until ended by voters?

Shall the measure, which would authorize the City of Woodland to continue to collect, for a period of ten years, a one-quarter cent sales tax for general city services, providing approximately $2.8 million annually and would not increase taxes, be adopted?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 25% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the November 2020 ballot to the Woodland Public Library to enhance educational and literacy programs and maintain or expand hours of operation?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 55% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the November 2020 ballot to expand and enhance youth and teen programs and facilities, and reduction of fees charged for use of city recreation facilities?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 15% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the November 2020 ballot to enhance public safety through expand crime prevention and community-building programs that support opportunities for youth within the community?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate up to 5% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the November 2020 ballot to support a utility ratepayer assistance program for low-income seniors and families?

Shall Ordnance No. 1599 which would authorize the City of Woodland to continue to collect an existing one-half cent sales tax for a period of twelve years, and would not increase taxes, for general city services including, but not limited to, street maintenance, parks and facility capital projects, and public safety, be adopted?

Shall Ordinance No. 1561 adding article II of chapter 27 to the Woodland Municipal Code, related to Council elections, be adopted, establishing "by-district" elections whereby voters would elect Council members from among candidates who live in their respective district?

Shall Ordinance No. 1558 which would authorize the City of Woodland to continue to collect a one-quarter cent sales tax for general city services, for a period of eight years, and would not increase taxes, be adopted?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 60% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the June 2014 ballot to expand and enhance youth and teen programs and facilities, including funding to support the re-opening of Hiddleson Pool, and reduction of fees charged for youth programs and use of city recreation facilities?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 20% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the June 2014 ballot to the Woodland Public Library to enhance educational and youth literacy programs and expand hours of operation?

(ADVISORY) Shall the City Council allocate 15% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the June 2014 ballot to enhance public safety through expanded crime prevention programs such as Neighborhood Watch and services supporting at-risk youth including gang intervention strategies?

(ADVISORY)Shall the City Council allocate up to 5% of the tax revenue collected from any sales tax measure re-authorized in the City of Woodland via the June 2014 ballot to support a city water and sewer utility ratepayer assistance program for low-income residents?
