To modernize/construct classrooms and school facilities; make health and safety improvements; construct career/technical education classrooms; renovate facilities at Martinez junior/senior high schools and adult education; shall the Martinez Unified School District measure authorizing $90,000,000 in bonds, at legal interest rates, and levying approximately $38.40 per $100,000 of assessed valuation (raising $5,800,000 annually) while bonds are outstanding, be adopted, with a board appointed citizens’ oversight committee and annual independent audits to assure proper expenditure of funds?

To provide stable funding the State cannot take away (and without increasing the tax rate) for high-quality programs in science/technology/engineering/math; attract/retain qualified teachers/counselors; provide hands-on science labs; and keep libraries open, shall Martinez Unified School District’s measure renewing its existing school parcel tax be adopted, at the current $75 per year rate (estimated to raise $850,000 annually), for eight years, with senior exemptions, independent citizens’ oversight, all funds supporting Martinez students?

To modernize and construct classrooms, restrooms, and school facilities; make health, safety, and security improvements; and upgrade infrastructure and systems for energy efficiency, shall the Martinez Unified School District measure authorizing $90,000,000 in bonds, at legal interest rates, and levying approximately 3.9 cents per $100 of assessed valuation, raising $5.6 million annually while bonds are outstanding, with a board appointed citizens’ oversight committee and annual independent audits to assure proper expenditure of funds, be adopted?

To maintain quality education and provide over $850,000 in annual local school funding that cannot be taken by the State, shall Martinez Unified School District attract and retain qualified teachers; maintain math, science, technology, engineering, reading/ writing programs; protect art/ music; keep school libraries open; and maintain school counselors by renewing for 5 years local school funding at the current $50 rate plus $25 per parcel with senior exemptions, independent citizens’ oversight and all funds supporting Martinez students?

To modernize, construct and/or renovate classrooms, restrooms and school facilities at elementary schools; improve student access to modern technology; upgrade inadequate electrical systems; replace deteriorating plumbing systems; construct career/technical education classrooms, including science labs; and replace leaky roofs, shall the Martinez Unified School District issue $120,000,000 of bonds, at legal interest rates, with annual audits, an independent citizens’ oversight committee, NO money for teacher or administrator salaries and all funds locally-controlled?

To continue funding academic programs that provide college and career pathways and help maintain student-teacher ratios, offset State budget cuts to education funding, improve access to modern technology, and maintain art, music and band programs, library services and counselors, shall Martinez Unified School District renew its expiring parcel tax at $50 per parcel annually for five years, with an exemption for seniors, age 65 or over, an independent citizens’ oversight committee, and all funds benefiting local schools?
