Elementary School District

To repair and upgrade local elementary /middle schools; improve school safety/ security, repair electrical systems; replace outdated plumbing to provide safe, clean drinking water; construct a new school to relieve overcrowding; upgrade classrooms to meet modern technology standards; shall Weaver Union School District’s measure to issue $20,000,000 in bonds at legal rates be adopted, raising approximately $1,500,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, at rates averaging $28 per $100,000 assessed value, with oversight, annual audits, all funds used locally?

To acquire, construct, and improve classrooms and suppo1rt facilities, reduce student overcrowding, match State grants to modernize Weaver Middle School and construct a new elementary, increase access to computers and modern classroom technology, replace portable classrooms with permanent facilities, reduce annual operating costs and put more money in the classroom, shall the Weaver Union School District be authorized to issue up to $9,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with annual audits and independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee?
