To ensure and maintain fire protection services and emergency medical response shall the Peninsula Community Service District Ordinance No. 2024-5.1, establishing a special tax until June 30, 2031, and raising an estimated $33,000 annually, be adopted?

To maintain and improve Arcata's essential city services and facilities, such as: emergency, disaster and climate change preparedness and response, services addressing homelessness and its impacts to the city, clinical mental health response to people in crisis, youth diversion counselor programs, sidewalks, bike lanes, transit, roads and trails, recreation and local parks, and other vital city programs,shall the City of Arcata enact a measure, by adopting a 3/4 cent sales tax, for general government purposes, providing approximately $2.6 million annually until ended by voters, requiring public spending disclosure, citizens' oversight, annual audits, and all funds used locally?

To maintain 9-1-1 response times/ prepare for natural disasters by: repairing deteriorating county roads/bridges; fixing potholes; maintaining evacuation routes; bus services; becoming eligible for Humboldt's fair share of state/federal roads funding, shall a measure enacting a one-cent sales tax, generating approximately $24,000,000 annually for general government purposes, until ended by voters, with citizens' oversight, annual audits, public disclosure, all funds used only for local services be adopted?

The existing special tax for fire protection and emergency medical services will expire in 2024. Shall a replacement special tax for fire protection and emergency medical services be levied by the Fieldbrook Glendale Community Services District of $95.00 per assessor's parcel in Zone Two (2), the zone comprising the Fieldbrook Fire Department’s response area, such tax to continue for ten (10) years?

Shall the measure changing local cannabis (marijuana) laws, including: new limits on the number of permitted grows; limiting new or expanded grows to 10,000 square feet, using natural light and artificial light of 6 or fewer watts per square foot, with restrictions on more or bigger buildings; new rules for water and generator use; prohibiting growers from holding multiple new permits; requiring at least one in-person, on-site inspection before yearly permit renewal; be adopted?

To continue maintaining general County Services, such as 911 emergency response; children’s mental health; rural fire/ambulance; repairing county roads; emergency communications systems; theater/public art; job training; shall an ordinance continuing the County’s existing hotel tax at a new 12% rate (paid only by hotel/lodging guests) adding overnight recreational vehicle parks/private campgrounds, generating approximately $3,080,000 annually until ended by voters, with annual audits/public review, be adopted?

To continue addressing community blight by removing and disposing abandoned, wrecked, or dismantled vehicles, shall the ordinance renewing the associated vehicle registration fee at the rate of $1 per vehicle and $2 for certain commercial vehicles be adopted for ten years, generating $160,000 annually, with all funds used in participating local communities to remove and dispose abandoned vehicles?

Shall a measure be approved allowing Humboldt County to obtain state and federal funding to construct, develop, or acquire housing for low income families, seniors, and people with disabilities within unincorporated areas, either directly or through assisting private projects, up to 2.5% of the total number of housing units existing in unincorporated Humboldt County, without raising taxes?

Shall the measure be adopted that would establish prohibitions, restrictions and policies governing the use of county funds and actions of county law enforcement officials and other county agencies regarding cooperation with federal civil immigration enforcement, and regarding access to county services for all residents, and prioritize parental choices when families are separated, but that would not prevent immigrants from being investigated or prosecuted for criminal activity?

To maintain essential services including 911 emergency response/rural ambulance/fire protection; ensuring 24-hour sheriff’s patrols; providing children’s mental health/victims of child abuse services; emergency communications systems; repairing deteriorating roads; and other essential general services, shall a measure to renew the existing ½ -cent sales tax, generating approximately $12,000,000 annually until ended by voters, with annual audits/citizen oversight, no increase in tax rate, be adopted?

Shall the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors establish by ordinance the Department of Finance and consolidate therewith the offices of the county Auditor-Controller and county Treasurer-Tax Collector?

Shall the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors create an elective office for the Department of Finance?

To maintain and improve essential services, including public safety, job creation; crime investigation/prosecution; environmental cleanup/restoration; children/family mental health; drug rehabilitation; other County services, shall Humboldt County establish a $1 - $3 per square foot, based upon type of grow, annual commercial marijuana cultivation tax generating approximately $7.3 million annually until ended by voters, with all revenue for the County, none for the State, annual audits, and public review?

To supplement existing funding for maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of existing transportation including trails and transit; local match leveraging of state/federal funds for road, trail, and transit infrastructure; and retention of existing commercial air service, shall the Humboldt County voters adopt an ordinance establishing a 1/2¢ per dollar sales tax throughout Humboldt County for 20 years, raising approximately $10,000,000 annually, requiring independent audits, separate accounts, public oversight and local revenue control?

Shall an ordinance be adopted to preserve mobile home parks in unincorporated areas of Humboldt County as important sources of affordable housing by: regulating pass-through fees, regulating fee spikes when a home is sold, and regulating monthly lot rents, which would be limited to annual increases pegged to the consumer price index; and shall government administrative costs be offset by a $5 monthly fee charged to mobile home park residents?

Shall the ordinance prohibiting the propagation, cultivation, raising or growing of genetically engineered organisms (also known as GMOs) in Humboldt County be adopted?

To maintain/improve essential services, such as 24-hour sheriff's patrols; 9-1-1 emergency response; crime investigation/prosecution; drug/illegal marijuana growhouse enforcement/prevention; services for abused children/mentally ill; rural fire protection; road repairs; and other County services, shall County of Humboldt pursuant to County Ordinance No. 2517 enact a 1/2% sales tax, for five years, all revenue for the County, none for the State of California, with annual audits and public review?

Shall a special tax be levied for fire protection, emergency medical services and an expansion of the fire house by the Fieldbrook Glendale Community Services District of $75.00 per assessor's parcel in Zone Two (2) in the District, such tax to continue for ten (10) years? If passed the special tax will supersede and replace the existing assessment.

Should the Humboldt County Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program and associated fees (one dollar per vehicle and an additional two dollars for certain commercial vehicles) be renewed for a ten year term under California Vehicle Code Sections 9250.7 and 22710, or any successor statutes thereto, for purposes of removal and disposal of abandoned and wrecked vehicles.
