To prevent drastic cuts to Atwater’s public safety services, including elimination of Atwater’s Police Department; maintain emergency heart attack/stroke response times, medical services, fire protection, neighborhood police patrols, police officer training; investigate violent crimes; shall the City of Atwater adopt a measure renewing its existing, voter-approved sales tax at the 1¢ rate, providing $4,000,000 annually, until ended by voters, requiring audits, oversight/all funds only for Atwater?

To prevent cuts to public safety services/neighborhood police patrols, and improve crime investigation/emergency response, by replacing overcrowded, aging/deteriorating police/fire facilities; upgrading outdated firefighting equipment; and redistributing stations throughout Atwater, shall the City of Atwater adopt a measure renewing at the 1¢ rate its existing, voter-approved sales tax, providing approximately $4,000,000 annually, until ended by voters, requiring independent audits, oversight, all funds only for Atwater?

Shall the measure adopting an ordinance authorizing the City Council of the City of Atwater to impose a business license tax at a rate of up to fifteen percent (15%) of gross receipts on cannabis businesses and dispensaries, to help fund general municipal services, be adopted?

Shall the measure making the office of Atwater City Clerk appointive by the City Council, rather than elected, be adopted?

Shall the City of Atwater adopt an ordinance to increase the City’s transient occupancy tax from eight percent (8%) to ten percent (10%), to generate an additional $10,000 annually from hotel and other rental guests, with all funds to be collected only for the City of Atwater to fund general City services?

Shall the Atwater Municipal Code be amended to establish and impose upon the offices of Mayor and Councilmember term limits of no more than twelve (12) years as the maximum total number of years an individual may serve in either or both offices in the City of Atwater?

To preserve the City's long-term financial stability and maintain public safety services, including police patrols and fire protection; 911 emergency response; rapid response to gang violence, robberies and burglaries; park safety; youth, shall the City of Atwater enact a one-half cent sales tax, for the term of up to ten (10) years, with all funds to be spent locally, requiring independent Citizen's Oversight and published annual audits?
