Shall the ordinance simplifying the existing City of Belmont business license structure, funding general city services, such as: fixing potholes, streets and sidewalks, maintaining 9-1-1 emergency response, maintaining parks, open space, and sports fields, maintaining neighborhood police patrols, crime prevention, keeping public areas healthy, safe, clean; lowering most businesses' rates with typical rates between 0.04% and 0.1% of gross receipts, described in the ordinance, until ended by voters, maintaining $1,300,000 annually, requiring independent audits, be adopted?

Shall a City of Belmont ordinance providing funding, that cannot be taken by the State, for general city services including: Fixing potholes, repairing streets and sidewalks; Maintaining 9-1-1 emergency response times; Keeping infrastructure projects/ upgrades on-time/ on-budget; Maintaining senior services, and Keeping public areas healthy, safe and clean; by raising the transient occupancy ("hotel") tax to 14%, paid only by guests, until ended by voters, providing an additional $600,000 annually, with independent audits, be adopted?

Shall the office of City Clerk be appointive?

Shall a City of Belmont ordinance providing funding, that cannot be taken by the State, for city services including: Fixing potholes, repairing streets and sidewalks; Maintaining neighborhood police patrols and crime prevention; Maintaining 9-1-1 emergency response times; Maintaining parks, open spaces, sports fields; Unrestricted general revenue purposes; by permanently raising the transient occupancy tax to 12% of the rent paid by guests, providing an additional $560,000 annually, with independent audits, be adopted?

Shall the office of City Treasurer be appointive?

To provide local funding for maintaining general City of Belmont services/facilities such as fixing potholes, repairing 69 miles of city streets, maintaining 911 emergency response, repairing deteriorating storm drains, reducing traffic congestion/improving public safety on neighborhood streets, shall Belmont enact a 1/2 cent sales tax providing $1,300,000 annually for 30 years, requiring citizens' oversight, independent audits, with all funds for local City of Belmont services and no funds for Sacramento?
