Shall the Cerritos City Charter be amended to remove or modify provisions based on superseding and preemptive State law, promote inclusivity through the use of generic personal pronoun references, increase City-wide operational efficiency by eliminating references to outdated business practices, and correct grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors?

Shall the Cerritos City Charter be amended to add SECTION 609, which would prohibit the employment or appointment by the Mayor, City Councilmembers, or City Manager of their relatives by blood or marriage within the third degree, as defined?

Shall SECTION 400 of the Cerritos City Charter be amended to remove current limitations regarding the terms of office for City Councilmembers?

Shall SECTION 400 of the Cerritos City Charter not be substantively amended, which would keep the current limitations regarding the terms of office for City Councilmembers, if another competing ballot measure, relating to TERM LIMITS, is affirmatively approved by a simple majority of the votes cast by the electorate for the competing ballot measure?

Shall SECTION 400 of the Cerritos City Charter be amended to modify current limitations regarding the terms of office for City Councilmembers, such that after April 12, 2022, a Councilmember who has served two (2) complete four-year terms, whether consecutive or not, is not eligible after the completion of the second four-year term to be elected or appointed to the City Council?

Shall SECTION 400 of the Cerritos City Charter be amended to modify current limitations regarding the terms of office for City Councilmembers, such that after April 12, 2022, a Councilmember who has served three (3) complete four-year terms, whether consecutive or not, is not eligible after the completion of the third four-year term to be elected or appointed to the City Council?

Shall the measure to establish a general, three-quarters percent (0.75%) local transactions and use (sales) tax, raising an estimated $11.4 million annually, and ending when voters decide to do so, subject to independent audits and public reports of spending, to provide and maintain a high level of City services, including, but not limited to, local sheriff's and community safety, sidewalk and street maintenance and repair, tree-trimming, library services, and parks and recreation services, be adopted?

To assist in the recovery of expenses for providing general city services, including police, library and park services, shall the City of Cerritos adopt an ordinance increasing the existing Transient Occupancy Tax (which is a hotel bed tax) from a rate of six percent (6%) to twelve percent (12%), which is a rate closer to the average for other Southern California cities?
