To address the rising cost of living and high cost of housing (without raising taxes); retain/attract small businesses; maintain local control; meet state housing requirements; provide for housing needs of workers, seniors, and middle-class families, shall the City of Cypress measure to approve an ordinance amending the Cypress Town Center and Commons Specific Plan to allow the right to develop 676 additional housing units, over time, at the Los Alamitos Race Course instead of allowing 766 housing units elsewhere in Cypress, be adopted?

Shall the measure, amending Cypress’s City Charter to require Council vacancies be filled pursuant to State law; permit changing by ordinance Council composition, election, and terms to comply with State law changes; and, solely pertaining to Cypress’s municipal affairs, change publication completion requirements for ordinances, franchises, public works contracts, and legal notices or other matters to alternatively permit publication by posting at three or more Council designated public places and Cypress’s online presence, be adopted?

Shall the measure, approving Ordinance No. 1173 which approves a zone change for the Cypress School District Maintenance Site, consisting of approximately 3.86 acres located at 5081 Orange Avenue, from “PS-1A Public/Semi-Public” to “PC Planning Community (PC-14),” thereby allowing for the construction of residential units, be adopted?

Shall the measure, approving the “Cypress Town Center and Commons Specific Plan 2.0”, which allows for development of a town center, single-family, senior and multi-family housing and public park space on portions of Los Alamitos Race Course, the former Cypress Golf Club and an adjacent property, with related amendments to the General Plan and the Amended and Restated Cypress Business and Professional Center Specific Plan and zone changes, be adopted?

Shall an ordinance that approves the "Cypress Town Center and Commons Specific Plan" to allow for development of a town center, single-family and multi-family housing, commercial/senior housing and a public park on portions of Los Alamitos Race Course, the former Cypress Golf Club and adjacent properties, together with related general plan and specific plan amendments and zone changes, be adopted?

Shall the ordinance ADOPTING ZONE CHANGE NO. 2014-03 AND THE HARMONY 2015 SPECIFIC PLAN, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9470 MOODY STREET FROM PS-1A PUBLIC & SEMI-PUBLIC TO PC PLANNED COMMUNITY (PC-14) be approved?

Shall the ordinance ADOPTING ZONE CHANGE NO. 2014-02 AND THE MACKAY PLACE SPECIFIC PLAN, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF 6.8 ACRES OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8721 CYPRESS AVENUE FROM PS-1A PUBLIC & SEMI-PUBLIC TO PC PLANNED COMMUNITY (PC-13) be approved?

Shall the ordinance approving amendments to the Amended and Restated Cypress Business & Professional Center Specific Plan, together with related General Plan amendments and a zone change, to allow additional uses, including single-family housing and neighborhood commercial uses, in one planning area adjacent to Cerritos Avenue, and additional uses, including mixed-use commercial and business park uses, in a second planning area southeast of the Los Alamitos Race Course between Katella and Cerritos Avenues, be adopted?

Shall the ordinance approving the amendment to the Cypress Business & Professional Center Specific Plan to allow additional uses, including market-rate senior citizen housing, assisted living facilities, professional offices, including medical services, and mixed-use commercial, in a planning area adjacent to Katella Avenue with related General Plan amendments and a zone change be adopted?
