To continue to maintain and prevent cuts to City services, without increasing taxes, such as: fire prevention/emergency response times; neighborhood police patrols; wildfire prevention; crime prevention/ investigation; after-school programs; library hours; senior services; open space, parks/ playfields; for general government use, shall El Cerrito’s measure extending the existing voter approved 1¢ sales tax, until ended by voters be adopted, providing approximately $4,000,000 annually, with citizens' oversight, annual audits, all funds staying local, none to Sacramento?

To maintain El Cerrito’s quality of life, continuing local control of recreation services/parks, including maintaining/improving: swim center pools, locker rooms/restrooms; city parks, walking paths, playfields/open space; and program space for children, families, adults/seniors; shall a measure be adopted extending the 2000 voter approved measure, with no increase of the current $58.46 per single family residential unit or other rates, until repealed by voters, providing $650,000 annually, with all funds benefiting El Cerrito?

To better maintain emergency 911 fire, medical and police services and response times; city parks, paths, playfields, and open space; programs for children, adults, and families; library programs; earthquake and disaster preparedness programs and reserves; other general services, shall a measure be adopted establishing El Cerrito as a Charter City and an ongoing real estate property transfer tax of $12 per $1,000, paid by buyers or sellers of property, providing $2,700,000 annually, all benefiting El Cerrito?

To replace the 67 year old El Cerrito Library with a safe, energy efficient, 21st century library that meets earthquake and fire codes with space for a children's area for story times/books; public access computers/computer learning center; up-to-date book/resource collections; and improved senior/disabled access, shall El Cerrito issue $30,000,000 in bonds at legal rates for 33 years, as the Voter Guide describes, requiring independent citizen oversight, and all funds for El Cerrito Library?

To continue to protect/ maintain City services, including fire prevention/ emergency services; emergency response times; neighborhood police patrols; irefighter/ police staffing; crime prevention/ investigation resources; after-school programs; library hours/ programs; senior services; open space, parks, paths/ playfields; other general City services, shall El Cerrito extend the existing voter-approved sales tax and set the future rate at one cent for 12 years, with citizens' oversight, annual audits, and all funds staying local, none to Sacramento?
