Shall a measure enacting a four percentage point (4%) increase to transient occupancy tax, increasing the total tax levied on hotel occupants from 8 to 12 percent, and reserving the increase for the general fund, generating approximately $300,000.00 annually for general City services such as public safety, park maintenance, recreation programs, street maintenance, solid waste, and community facilities maintenance until ended by voters, be adopted?

Commencing with the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election, shall the term of office of Mayor be changed from two (2) years to four (4) years?

Shall an ordinance be adopted adding Section 2.04.300 to Chapter 2.04 of the Hollister Municipal Code to establish an eight consecutive year term limit on Mayoral service followed by a four-year “cooling off” period during which a person may not serve as Mayor, and a two consecutive four-year term limit on Councilmember service followed by a four-year “cooling off” period during which a person may not serve as a Councilmember?

(ADVISORY) Should the City of Hollister re-establish the Hollister Motorcycle Rally to be conducted annually over a week prior to/following the 4th of July weekend?

To keep Hollister safe by: maintaining Hollister's public safety services, rapid 9-1-1 emergency response times, operations at all current fire stations, neighborhood police patrols, parks/recreation programs and other City services, shall the City of Hollister continue the existing voter-approved one-cent sales tax for 20 years providing $4,500,000 annually, requiring citizens' oversight, annual audits, all funds for Hollister, with no increase in tax rate?

Shall the office of City Treasurer be appointive?

Shall the Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax be increased to twelve percent (12%)?

Shall an ordinance be approved enacting a one percent (1%) sales tax for the purpose of funding general city services, such as police, fire safety, gang intervention and prevention, recreation programs, and street and parks maintenance, that will automatically expire five years after its operative date and that will require annual review and public report on revenues and expenditures by an independent citizens' oversight committee?

Shall the electors elect a mayor and reduce the number of council districts from five to four?
