Term limits for members of the City Council. Shall the ordinance limiting the number of four-year terms served by members of the Huntington Park City Council be limited to four consecutive terms prospectively? The ordinance provides that no person shall serve more than four consecutive terms in city council and any person who has served four terms may reset the four-term cap after abstaining from running in one general municipal Election?

To provide Huntington Park residents access to overnight parking, reduce 9-1-1 emergencies response times by preventing parking violations that block streets and make it difficult for ambulances, fire engines, police, paramedics, and other emergency personnel to navigate city streets; improve trash collection and street sweeping services, shall Huntington Park be directed to conduct a citywide study to develop, implement and enforce a parking permit program on public streets to improve residents quality of life?

Should there be a City-wide overnight parking permit program of which times and dates will be set by resolution by the City? Fiscal impact will be minimal because permit fees will offset the City costs of processing the permits.

Shall the City of Huntington Park take all reasonable and necessary steps to negotiate with Costco for a store location in Huntington Park, which could include land use, zoning, economic and financial incentives, or other concessions, with the revenues generated from the Costco store to be used to preserve police and public safety services, community programs, youth and after-school parks and recreation services, and improving City parks, fixing City streets and public infrastructure?

To maintain and improve services such as 911 emergency services, public safety, senior services, community programs and prevent significant cuts to essential services, by funding general City services including hiring additional police personnel, maintaining anti-gang and graffiti efforts, youth and after-school parks and recreation services, expanding and improving City parks, fixing City streets and public infrastructure, shall the City sales tax be increased by one cent with annual financial audits, expenditure reports, and financial oversight?
