Shall an ordinance protecting Lancaster’s financial stability; maintaining essential services; maintaining 911 response; retaining businesses; maintaining veterans, senior, mental health, and homelessness community programs; by amending the city’s sales and use tax ordinance to provide automatic increase to the sales and use tax rate to the maximum permitted – whether because another tax expires, the Legislature increases the statutory maximum use tax for the City, or otherwise – be adopted?

(ADVISORY) Do you support the City of Lancaster exploring and potentially establishing a drug treatment program similar to Teen Challenge to address drug-related issues within our community?

In response to increasing public health and safety concerns, shall the City Council adopt an ordinance imposing an administrative fine for loitering or camping within 500 feet of sensitive uses such as schools, churches, daycares, parks and libraries?

Shall an ordinance protecting Lancaster's long-term financial stability; maintaining essential city services; repairing streets/potholes; addressing homelessness; maintaining 911 emergency response; keeping public areas safe/clean for all; retaining local businesses; protecting local water sources; maintaining veterans, senior, mental health, community programs; by establishing a ¾-cent sales tax, providing approximately $12,000,000 annually until ended by voters; requiring citizen oversight, public spending disclosures; all funds used locally in Lancaster, be adopted?

Shall the City of Lancaster adopt an ordinance increasing the transient occupancy tax paid by hotel, motel, or other lodging guests staying within the City of Lancaster for a period of thirty (30) consecutive days or less by 2%, providing approximately $642,537.23 in increased annual revenue to the City?

To protect the public's health, safety, and general welfare by providing additional law enforcement protection and services such as shelter, counseling, and support services for the homeless community, shall the ordinance imposing an annual special parcel tax of (i) $36 per unit upon developed residential parcels, (ii) $144 per acre or portion thereof (not to exceed $1,000 per parcel) on other developed parcels, which will be subject to a 50% discount for parcels owned by senior citizens, which will raise $3,958,234.00 annually for a term of 20 years, be adopted?
