City of Manhattan Beach

To provide funding for general city services in Manhattan Beach, including keeping local streets, sidewalks, infrastructure, and parks safe, clean, and well-maintained; repairing/upgrading aging community facilities; fixing potholes; and improving parking availability and traffic safety, shall City of Manhattan Beach's ordinance establishing a 0.5¢ sales tax be adopted, providing $5,000,000 annually until ended by voters for general government use that can't be taken by the State, with citizen oversight, independent audits, and all money locally controlled, be adopted?

Shall a measure repealing Manhattan Beach’s existing prohibition of all commercial cannabis activity; allowing three cannabis retailers within city limits; allowing Manhattan Beach City Council discretion to legalize other cannabis uses; and imposing operational, design, and location requirements on such businesses, be adopted?

Shall a measure readopting Manhattan Beach’s existing: (1) prohibition of all commercial cannabis activities in the City; and (2) allowance of limited indoor cannabis cultivation consistent with state law, be adopted?

Shall a measure imposing an annual flat tax of $1,095.00 on each real property parcel within the City of Manhattan Beach, and adjusted annually for inflation, for a period of twelve years, thereby generating an estimated $11,000,000 to $13,000,000 annually for investment in education, with an oversight committee and exemptions for (1) low-income individuals and (2) seniors who use their property as a principal residence, be adopted?

To fund essential City services such as police patrols/crime prevention, fire, paramedic/9-1-1 emergency response, street maintenance, pothole repair, community facilities, infrastructure improvements/other general services, shall an ordinance be adopted increasing the City's existing transient occupancy (hotel) tax paid by hotel/motel guests up to 14%, providing more than $1,000,000 annually for City services, until ended by voters, requiring citizen oversight, independent audits, and all funds locally controlled?
