Shall the measure of the City of Martinez to levy a dedicated special tax to prevent development and acquire, create and maintain 297 acres of permanent public parkland and wildlife habitat known as the Alhambra Highlands, at a maximum rate of $79 annually for single-family parcels and at specified maximum rates for other parcel types, for 30 years, providing approximately $1.2 million annually, with exemptions for low-income persons, be adopted?

To maintain 911 police emergency response times; violent crime prevention/property investigations; school safety; youth, recreation, senior programs; storm drains/pollution prevention; retain/recruit experienced police officers; protect and maintain open space/parks; address homelessness; other essential City services; shall an ordinance be adopted establishing a local, half-cent sales tax for 15 years, providing $3,200,000 annually, with citizens’ oversight, annual audits, all funds spent only in Martinez?

Shall the City of Martinez adopt the Measure Designating and Protecting Public Permanent Open Space and Park and Recreation Lands and Requiring Voter Approval of any Changes to those protections?

(INITIATIVE) Shall the City of Martinez adopt the Initiative Measure Amending the Martinez General Plan to Create a Protected Open Space and Parks Overlay Designation, Apply the Overlay to Certain Properties as Set Forth in the 1973 General Plan and Adopt Land Use Regulations Relating Thereto?

To provide funding that stays in Martinez, to be used exclusively to improve and maintain the City’s roadways, shall an ordinance which imposes a temporary, half-cent transaction and use (sales) tax for 15 years, providing an estimated $2.1 million annually, with citizens’ oversight and annual audits, be adopted?

Shall the order adopted on April 11, 2012, by the Contra Costa Local Agency Formation Commission ordering the annexation to the City of Martinez of the territory described in that order and designated as North Pacheco Annexation to the City of Martinez be confirmed subject to the terms and conditions specified in the order?
