Shall a measure be adopted to convert an existing sales tax of ½ percent to a special tax to be in effect until March 31, 2044, without raising current tax rates, providing approximately $8,000,000 annually, with annual audits and citizen oversight, with 95% of tax proceeds to be used only for police protection and fire protection and 5% to be used for road and street maintenance and improvement?

Shall the measure to amend the Merced City Charter to impose a four year term for Mayor be adopted?

Shall the measure to amend the Merced City Charter to establish a Citizens' Stipend Setting Commission to set, recommend, and limit the maximum stipend the City Council, including the Mayor, may adopt and receive be adopted?

Shall the measure to amend the Merced City Charter to impose budget and reporting requirements by the Finance Officer to the City Council be adopted?

Generating approximately $1,000,000 annually locally to fund Merced Police, Fire, Parks, Recreation services such as 911 emergency response; neighborhood-based policing; fire/gang prevention services; skilled police officers and firefighters; and safe, clean parks; shall the City of Merced adopt an ordinance authorizing an annual commercial cannabis business tax of up to: $25 per square foot of cultivation space, or 10% of gross receipts until ended by voters, with independent citizens oversight?

Shall Section 400 of the Merced City Charter be amended to change the City’s at-large election system to a Council by single-member district election system with the Mayor elected at-large, and to allow by ordinance the drawing of district boundary lines?

Shall Section 400 of the City Charter be amended to reduce election costs to the City by consolidating the Mayor and City Council elections with statewide elections in even numbered years resulting in the next City election being in 2016 rather than 2015 and making a one-time adjustment in Mayor and City Council terms and term-limits to accomplish the change?
