Shall the ordinance providing funding for City of Monterey Park’s general services such as maintaining 911 emergency response and fire protection; increasing neighborhood police patrols; maintaining parks; supporting youth, afterschool, and senior programs; repairing streets and potholes; by increasing the City of Monterey Park’s transient occupancy tax, paid only by hotel/motel and short-term rental guests, from 12% to 13%, providing approximately $500,000 annually until ended by voters; requiring spending disclosure, funds locally controlled, be adopted?

Shall an ordinance maintaining Monterey Park’s long term financial stability and locally controlled services such as 9-1-1 emergency/safety response; conducting neighborhood/park police patrols; helping prevent thefts/property crimes; protecting local drinking water; preparing for drought; retaining/attracting local businesses/jobs; repairing streets/potholes; addressing homelessness; and allowing other government use by establishing a ¾¢ transactions and use (sales) tax until ended by voters, generating approximately $6,000,000 annually, with audits/public spending disclosure, be adopted?

Shall the proposition imposing a general three-quarter cent transactions and use tax (sales tax) raising approximately $4,000,000 each year to pay for general municipal services be adopted?

Shall an ordinance that changes the General Plan and Zoning Map land use designation from a commercial zoning designation to a residential zoning designation and approves a Specific Plan for construction of single family detached homes on the property located at 2015 Potrero Grande Drive be adopted?

Shall an ordinance amending the Monterey Park Municipal Code to authorize and direct the City Council to negotiate to transfer all functions of the Monterey Park Fire Department to the consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County (aka the Los Angeles County Fire Department) be adopted?

Shall the ordinance that does not increase the City's telephone utility user tax rate but rather amends the City's telephone utility tax code to reflect changes in electronic communication equipment, methods and regulations be adopted?
