Shall the Sunset Clause or expiration date set by Section 3.25.070 of the Parlier Municipal Code enacting a Parcel Tax to pay only for the operations of the Parlier Police Department in providing necessary public safety services for the City of Parlier be repealed so that the Parcel Tax adopted by the voters is extended?

Shall the Sunset Clause or expiration date set by Section 3.25.070 of the Parlier Municipal Code which will end the Special Parcel Tax to pay only for local police protection services be repealed so that the Parcel Tax adopted by the voters and enacted as Chapter 3.25 of Title 3 of the Parlier Municipal Code is extended to enable the City to continue to fund basic and necessary public safety services to residents and inhabitants of the City of Parlier?

To protect, maintain and improve essential City services including police, fire, 911 emergency, gang prevention programs, neighborhood police patrols, maintain streets, reduce criminal activity, attract and retain businesses and jobs, and maintain youth/senior and other programs and services, shall the City of Parlier increase the sales tax by one cent ($.01) providing for approximately $400,000 annually, until ended by voters?

(ADVISORY) To ensure the availability of and to maintain and enhance essential City services, such as fire protection services among others, shall an ordinance be adopted to enact a four percent (4%) utility users tax indefinitely on electric, natural gas and telecommunications services to raise approximately $398,000.00 annually, and which includes procedures for fair and broad-based application?

(ADVISORY) If Measure K passes, should the revenues raised be primarily used to provide, maintain and enhance fire services in the City of Parlier?

To ensure the availability of and to maintain and enhance essential City services, such as fire protection services among others, shall an ordinance be adopted to enact a four percent (4%) utility users tax indefinitely on electric, natural gas and telecommunications services to raise approximately $398,000.00 annually, and which includes procedures for fair and broad-based application?

(ADVISORY) If Measure D passes, should the revenues raised be primarily used to provide, maintain and enhance fire services in the City of Parlier?

To support local police services; maintain emergency response times and officer staffing levels; fight crime, drugs and gangs; shall City of Parlier levy a special parcel tax for police protection services only of $120.00 on each single-family home, and specified amounts for multi-family units; mobile home spaces; commercial, agricultural, and industrial parcels, as outlined in Ordinance No. 2016-03, providing an estimated $495,000 annually for five years, with independent annual audits, and benefiting City residents? 

To maintain the current Parlier Police Department and Fire protection services, shall the City of Parlier be authorized to levy a parcel tax as set forth in Council Resolution 2014-44 for a period of 5 years and subject to an annual audit?

To maintain the current Parlier Police Department and Fire protection services, shall the City of Parlier be authorized to levy a parcel tax as set forth in Council Resolution 2014‐10 for a period of 5 years and subject to an annual audit?

To preserve the safety and quality of life of the City of Parlier through City services - including law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency medical response - and to ensure that all taxpayers are treated fairly, shall the City enact a Utility Users Tax in the amount of 5%, while including protections for senior citizens, and ensuring that all funds remain local?
