City of Ridgecrest

To prevent cuts/ maintain City of Ridgecrest services, such as: repair potholes/ city streets; 9-1-1 emergency/ medical response times; neighborhood police patrols; attract/retain local business/ jobs; and for general government use, shall the City of Ridgecrest measure reauthorizing a previously voter approved 1 ¢ sales tax with no tax increase, providing $6,500,000 annually, until ended by voters, with independent oversight/ audits, all funds for City of Ridgecrest, no funds for Sacramento, be adopted?

To provide funding, that cannot be taken by the State, for maintaining services, such as fire services/keeping both fire stations open full-time; 911 response times; replacing Pinney pool; emergency medical response; pothole/street repair; recreation programs for all; other city services; shall the City of Ridgecrest measure be adopted levying a 1¢ sales tax, ending in 9 years, providing $5,900,000 annually, requiring all funds stay local, independent citizens' oversight/annual audits?  

To help prevent cuts and maintain City of Ridgecrest services, including: city streets and pothole repair; police officers and neighborhood police patrols; 9-1-1 emergency response times; crime prevention and investigation; and other city services, shall the City of Ridgecrest enact a one cent sales tax, providing $4,000,000 annually for 8 years, requiring a citizen's oversight committee, annual independent audits, with all funds for City of Ridgecrest services only, and no funds for Sacramento?

Shall section 2-2.101 of the Ridgecrest Municipal Code be amended and re-enacted to impose term limits of eight (8) consecutive years on city council members and mayor, and a two (2) year bar before holding either office thereafter?

Shall the term of office of mayor be two years?

Shall the term of office of mayor be four years?

Ridgecrest Public Safety/Essential City Services Measure. To help prevent additional cuts and maintain City of Ridgecrest services, including: city streets and pothole repair; police officers and neighborhood police patrols; 9-1-1 emergency response times; and crime prevention and investigation; and other city services, shall the City of Ridgecrest enact a 3/4 cent sales tax, for five (5) years, requiring a citizen's oversight committee, annual independent audits, with all funds for City of Ridgecrest services only, no funds for Sacramento?

Shall the ordinance enacting new section 2-2.105 of the Ridgecrest Municipal Code to allow electors to directly elect a mayor and four city councilmen be adopted?
